Every year we sit at home at Christmas feeling bad because we know that we should change our lifestyle. What is it we should do – more sport, lose weight, stop smoking?

Every year we sit at home at Christmas feeling bad because we know that we should change our lifestyle. What is it we should do – more sport, lose weight, stop smoking? At the beginning of the new year we really stick to our new routines but after a while we fall back to our old every-day patterns. Our willingness and our motivation crumble more and more, sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

We recommend you write down all the small and big objectives. And have you ever considered rewarding yourself when you reach your objective, even before the deadline you set yourself? Nothing big because even little gifts you give yourself can be very motivating. Another idea is to look for like-minded people. It is good, of course, to follow your goals on your own but it’s a lot more fun when there are 2 or 3 people and it’s also easier to keep going!
